Basic skills required: cast on and knit. Show off your skills and decorate your home with this beautiful pillow. Topics covered in this class will be increase, slip-slip-knit, weaving in ends and "short rows". Class is three 2-hour sessions. Fee $35.00.

Discover the importanced of gauge in knitting. This is a one day session class. You will need to bring enough yarn to knit a 4 x 4 swatch, appropriate needles, calculator and something towriteon. This isa needed classif you want to progress beyond the world of scarves. Class size is limited. Sign up early. Fee $15.00.
Thursdays - 1:00 - 2:30 July 15 or July 29
No skills required. 4 oz. of wool roving is furnished, but you will need a drop spindle to begin. Learn the basics of spinning. Initially, class is taught on a drop spindle and progresses to a wheel. Fee: $50.00, or free with purchase of new spinning wheel. By appointment.
Interested in seeing if you might like to spin? This is an inexpensive way to find out before the investment in a wheel. You will need to purchase a drop spindle of your choice at Grinny Possum. Four ounces of wool roving is included for the class. Fee $20.00.

Serenity is a beautiful square baby blanket knit in the round from the center out featuring ambling cables that resemble leaves with touches of lace and a scalloped leaf-lace edging. Class is 5 sessions. Fee $50.00.

Classes must be paid for in advance when you sign up. If the cost does not include materials, those materials must be purchased at Grinny Possum Fiber Arts. Except in case of emergency, class fees are not refundable, as a paid fee holds a place in the class. Class size will be limited so our students can have individual attention. If you need additional help, we have a "come on in and let's work it out" policy. Dates and time of each class are set and no deviation is possible as instructors are only available at those times.
